The Human Resource Generalist (HRG)/ JPAS Assoc. is a newly created position that will assist the HR department in managing all HR function and processes; and serving as the JPAS Assoc.

Responsibilities

  • Assist employment and compliance to regulatory concerns and reporting.
  • Assist employee orientation, development, and training.
  • Assists in policy development and documentation.
  • Assist with compensation and benefits administration.
  • Assists HR department with the development and administration of process, procedures, and guidelines.
  • Participates in developing department goals, objectives, and systems.
  • Assists with the implementation of the performance management system that includes individual development plans (IDPs) and employee development programs.
  • Maintains human resource information system records and compiles reports from the database.
  • Helps maintain compliance with federal, state and local employment and benefits laws and regulations.
  • Demonstrate the ability to apply and use JPAS for eligibility and investigation verification.
  • Understand the fundamentals and purpose of JPAS.
  • Navigate the JPAS Gateway and log in.

Required Qualifications

  • Associate Degree and 3-5 years of HR experience or
  • High School Diploma and 5-7 years of HR experience
  • Minimum of 1 year of JPAS experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree and 1-3 years of HR experience
  • PHR Certification
